Gearing up for Halloween!

Hope everyone is doing well! We are looking forward to some serious excitement in the coming weeks. Halloween is next week, and we will have a VERY special Halloween edition of the blog. Also, Grandma Mare is coming in to town for the filming of Jeremy's episode of The Game. Then, for Thanksgiving, Grandma and Grandpa Park are coming to town to celebrate Grandma Park's 60th Birthday and Thanksgiving! Yay, family time!!!

Lately, several people have told us that Wyatt's face is changing and that he looks older. What do you think?

Jeremy took these pictures while we were eating last Saturday. I think they are funny because in some of them, Wyatt and I have the same facial expression.

Our skeptical look. It looks like we're both saying, "Yeah, right".

Someone is very serious when he eats

Last week, Wyatt and I were able to celebrate Cousin Katie and Auntie Candace's birthdays with some delicious korean barbecue. Yummy yes!

Please do not take it personally if Wyatt is scared of you when he sees you. He is going through a bit of stranger anxiety at the moment. This picture is the best!

We went for a walk on Saturday, and it was a bit chilly, so Wyatt wore my hat, sort of...

Sometimes Wyatt wants me to know something, and this is how he tells me. You can see all 8 teeth!

I made a little tunnel out of a mattress that we have for him in the living room. He thought it was very silly to crawl under it, but he gave it a shot!

Please watch Wyatt's public service announcement about voting.

Believe it or nuts Part 2

Wyatt is a healthy 22lbs and 8oz, and 29 inches long! He has made it onto the charts in weight, but is still off the charts in head size and height. Some photos and videos for your viewing enjoyment!

This little magic trick requires skillful sleight of hand:

Please observe the differences in reaction that Wyatt gives me and Jeremy for the same action. He REALLY loves his daddy!

For your viewing pleasure!

If you look closely in this picture, you can see Wyatt's two front teeth (and the spacious gap in between them!). Wyatt now has 8 teeth. I hope he gets a little break between these and the next ones that will be coming in.

Summer, Jack and Wyatt at the Silverlake Reservoir. Summer and I have been walking around it every Friday for the past 3 Fridays. We go around it twice, so it is 4.4 miles! The boys will usually fall asleep around mile 2.

Food, Glorious Food!

The biggest change from this week is that Wyatt is now eating solid foods! He is really getting the hang of it, as you can see from the videos below. We have had a really fun week, so here are some pictures from it!

On Saturday the 23rd, we went to a street fair called the Sunset Junction. There was live music , carnival rides, and food and vendor booths. There was a lot to see, but Wyatt slept through some of it. I am making the sad face because it was pretty loud, so we made little ear muffs out of a blanket. He looks like George Washington!

Our big boy getting used to his high chair

Wyatt's first time in a pool at Curtis and Jessica's for Jessica's birthday party! He didn't love it, but he didn't hate it. We'll see how he does on future excursions.

Jeremy eating pizza in a jacuzzi. What a life, huh?

Wyatt made a new friend this week. His name is Jack, and he was born one day after Wyatt!

Cutie pies!

First bites of rice cereal. He wasn't sure if he liked it.

Asleep with his blue dog!

Dangerously close to outgrowing his car seat...

Autie Dorothy's bowling birthday party!

Jeremy would like you to know that he bowled a 177, but would have gotten a much higher score if he had played a 3rd game, and if they didn't turn off the lights for glow in the dark bowling.

Wyatt in his new tie-dye shirt from Grandma Mare in Kalamazoo!

There is a small park near our neighborhood that has little kiddie sized fountains. Wyatt definitely did not like it at first, but he warmed up to it because his daddy gave him courage.

I love the look on Wyatt's face in this picture...

Fish face! He is experimenting with many different looks these days!

This is a little video snippet from Wyatt's first feeding. Wyatt is a boy of many talents. He can eat, choke, hiccup and smile at the same time!

In just a few short days, he is becoming a pro!
