some more pics at the 6 week mark!

Wyatt's eyes were a bluish-grey when he was born, but they are definitely looking browner these days! He is smiling at us a lot more now, and he is a very happy boy! We have been going on more outings, and he really likes exploring new places. He is a curious boy!

Five Weeks Later

Here are some pictures of our little man Wyatt. Things have been going very well so far. He's eating good (already up to 12lbs 9oz) and he's sleeping pretty good (3-4 four hour stretches at night). We love him a lot and love having him around.

Jeremy's been busy at back at work (average of 11-12 hour days), which makes it a little hard for Lily who's home alone all day, but we're getting the hang of it. We're also looking forward to May, when Jeremy's done with this season of the THE GAME and we're all heading back to Michigan for a week. Should be very nice.

Enjoy these pictures!

This is Wyatt sucking on Lily's pinky at his first doctor's appointment. He hates to be changed (clothes, diapers, etc...), and we had to strip him naked to see what he weighed (8lbs 13.7 oz), so this is how we consoled him.

Over all, things are going very well. Wyatt's a ton of fun, super cute, and we're overwhelmed that he's ours to keep.

Wyatt Sohl Brother Howe

He was born on Feb 27, 2008 at 2:51am
Weighing 9lbs 4oz (big guy)
Measuring 21 1/2 inches long.

Lily's water broke at 10:30pm on the 25th, we went to the hospital at 4am on the 26th, Lily started pushing around 11:30pm that night, and after a long, courageous three hours, our son was born (without needing a C-Section!).

Both mom and baby are doing great!

And yes, his middle name is Sohl Brother (we had Brother first -- my brothers have a band called Brother Howe and we also want to raise our son to be a brother to everyone -- and Sohl is Korean for "Evergreen" (because no matter which season it is, an Evergreen tree remains consistent), which Lily's parents came up with.

That is it for now. Just trying to get rested.

Water! Breaking! Hospital! Waiting!

So Lily's water broke last night at 10:30. We rested and came to the hospital at 4am. Lily got an epidural around 10:30am, and at noon, the Dr. said Lily had only dilated 1.5 centimeters (you need to be 10 so you can push babies out). So now, we wait (until probably 8 or 9pm tonight, with a slight chance of C-Section).

In the meantime, please enjoy these photos of our hospital room with view.

Our View.

The top chart is our baby, but I don't know what that means. The bottom chart (the roller coaster looking one) is Lily's contractions, which she can't feel because of the epidural.

Another look at our view.

The couch next to Lily is where Jeremy sleeps.
