4 Weeks and Counting!

The realization that we are going to be having a little girl is hitting us a little bit at a time! We have been talking to Wyatt about his baby sister, and it is so nice that he will remind us to pray for her when we do our prayers at bedtime. Unfortunately, he has also let us know in advance that he will not be sharing with her. We'll see about that...

Can you spot the real Jeremy? We have been having friends over for ping pong after church, and it is fun fun!

A Warm and Sunny New Year's Eve!

Happy New Year! We hope you have had a wonderful and joyous holiday season, and are looking forward to the promise of a new year!

Enjoying beautiful Downtown Glendale on New Year's Eve

What are these two gentlemen staring at so intently?

An Auger Drill! Wyatt loves all kinds of construction vehicles, so we get out books from the library to learn about them. I know more about backhoes than I ever thought possible...

The only disadvantage to looking at construction all morning? "Too loud, too noisy", says Wyatt.

Wyatt was offered a job by these two construction workers to fill sand bags. He would have loved to, but we didn't bring his shovel.

A Merry Christmas Indeed!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to one and all! Jeremy, Wyatt and I are enjoying our time together immensely. Our days are filled with reading books, playing and getting ready for baby sister's arrival.

With our wonderful friends Summer and her son Jack, Shauna and her daughter Jane

Too Wet!

We've been having loads of rain and chilly temperatures in Los Angeles, and Wyatt loves it! He has been observing that everything is "too wet".

Trying to get a decent picture of three kids. Near impossible. This is Wyatt and two of his cousins, Katie and Joseph, at a local mall.

Some of the not so successful outtakes:

After a protracted war with Wyatt over whether or not he would wear a hat, he finally gave in when he felt how cold it was outside. These pictures are blurry because he moves so quickly!

Wyatt is learning how to say "cheese!". Can you tell? He looks just like Grandpa Park in this picture.

The Times, They are a Changin'

There have been many changes in the Howe household since we last updated this blog. We have moved to a two-bedroom in family-friendly Glendale, found out that we will be having a girl in March (feel free to submit name suggestions), and Jeremy has joined the ranks of the unemployed :(. We are presently having the time of our lives now that Jeremy is home with us all day. It has been really great spending time together, and Wyatt says that Daddy is his best friend. I'm a bit miffed, but I figure me and the new baby will be girly best friends. Here are some pictures of our growing boy! Videos to come!

We don't have too many new pictures or videos to add, but here are just a few of our foodie-in-training! We have been busy packing up for our move to the new house, and also setting up little traps for the ants that are attacking us! Wyatt has become very astute at pretending to see ants. He will stare at a spot intently, and then say, "Ant", because he sees his daddy do it.

I don't ordinarily let our child play on an unstable furniture dolly, but since we are moving, we had one out, and it immediately became a toy!

Our little guy's audition tape for Cirque du Soleil

He does not like my warning "whoa". Its like he is saying, "Don't tell me this is dangerous, I can do it!"

I'm really impressed by his balance, and perserverance. He played with this for at least 4 minutes, which is an eternity for a 17 month old...

We are trying to beat the heat, here in Los Angeles. We try to do something fun in the morning, and I took a couple of pictures of our adventures!

Happy Fourth of July, Everyone!

Here are some photos that we took before this weekend!

Wyatt and I visited Jeremy at his job on the Warner Bros. lot

No, this isn't a deserted New York Street, it is a set!

One of Wyatt's many talents. If you ever need your shades opened, let us know and we will be there!

Greetings! We are all doing well here in LA, and enjoying the first signs of summer!

Wyatt decided to stand in this pot and play with the lock on the door!

Doesn't he look so old?

Wyatt climbed up to the dinner table on his own! How long before he doesn't want to sit in a high chair?

He's got lots to say!

Travel Town!

On Saturday, we braved the drizzle and visited Travel Town! There are all these fun old trains that you can admire, and some you can even climb aboard!

Wyatt loved the trains. Look how tiny he looks in comparison!

In case you were wondering what he was doing in the above picture, we enlarged just him: Disco Wyatt!

There was a little train that you could ride. Here are the two boys with their hoods on!

Pics from New York

We are back from our fun, spontaneous trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Park in NY/NJ. Here are some pictures from our adventures.

Here we are in Manhattan. Wyatt's feet smelled because of his shoes, so we took his shoes off. Unfortunately, Wyatt took this as an invitation to play with daddy's face with his feet.

handsome guys!

We picked up Grandma from work, and got a bite to eat in NYC!

We were able to find a parking spot in NY! That definitely warrants a picture

Wyatt really enjoyed looking out of the windows of Grandma and Grandpa's home. They were all eye-level

Kissing Grandma!

Swimming with Grandma and Grandpa

Swimming and playing with Grandma and Grandpa is tiring! Wyatt was tuckered out!

Grandpa and Daddy got to play golf, so Wyatt got to ride in a golf cart!

These are pictures taken before our trip on our playdate with a friend from church! Here is Hudson feeding Wyatt raisins

Cracking up - silly guy!

He is walking so fast these days, we have to keep an eye on him!
